Depositing Funds on SatrixNOW FAQs

How Can I Deposit Funds Into My SatrixNOW Account?

Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)

This is the cheapest way to fund your SatrixNOW account with zero fees:

  1. Log into your account

  2. Select the menu in the top left corner

  3. Select Deposits under the My Funds section of the menu

  4. Scroll down and use the drop-down menu to select the bank where your bank account is held

  5. Use the bank account details in the block below the drop-down menu to make an EFT from your internet banking or banking app

  6. Remember, the payment is reflected in your SatrixNOW account only after the funds appear in our bank account, which can take up to 48 hours (about 2 days). If your funds do not reflect within 48 hours, please submit a ticket and attach the payment confirmation.

Important:

For Capitec Bank Account Users - Please use our ABSA bank account details to make EFT deposits and ensure to enter the correct reference for your EFT.

What Reference Should I Use When Depositing Funds Via EFT?

Use the SX EFT reference displayed on the deposits page of the respective account you're funding (SatrixNOW or TFSA).

This reference is unique to each account type. To expedite the process, deposit to the same bank account that you bank with (Capitec clients are requested to make their deposits to the ABSA account).

How Do I Find My SX Number/User ID for a TFSA Transfer Request Form?

  • Select your Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) from the Account Ribbon and navigate to the Account Overview page to find your full TFSA account number, which starts with 'SX' and contains unique numbers after the hyphen.

  • For the TFSA transfer form, use ONLY the first part of the number before the hyphen and replace the numbers after the hyphen with "TFSA Transfer."

What Additional Information Should I Be Aware of When Making Deposits?

  • Use the correct reference and bank details provided by SatrixNOW to avoid delays or issues with your deposit.

  • Consider depositing funds into your SatrixNOW account first before transferring them to your Tax Free Savings account using the Inter-account Transfers functionality.

Important:
Satrix will never share banking information via WhatsApp.
